Parameter sets#
The program contains a number of pre-defined parameter sets available in the command-line interface or through direct interaction with the C++ code. These sets exemplify interesting model behaviours and can be useful for testing.
To learn how to use these through the command-line interface of the program, please refer to the Tutorials.
For further customisation, refer to the Custom parameter set and Advanced options sections. For further details on the default settings of the program, read the Default behaviour section.
Set comparison#
By default, unless specified otherwise, all pre-defined sets include:
Dispersal: partially mixed populations (low dispersal)
Gene drive: single release time at
driver_start
and randomly selected release sites at each release time.Toroid boundary type

No alpha0 variance
“No seasonality” (only baseline contribution to carrying capacity, no rainfall contribution)
